Who we are
Stichting Permanence Group (the “Foundation“) is a foundation (stichting) incorporated under Dutch law and having its corporate seat in the Netherlands.
The Foundation is dedicated to improving lives in Armenia and other former Soviet Union countries through humanitarian support, charitable initiatives and community-driven fundraising activities.
Our history
During a visit in 2009 to the orphanage called Specialized Children’s Home of Kharberd in Armenia, the founders of the Foundation encountered heartbreaking stories of numerous marginalized children with physical and/or mental disabilities. Under these circumstances, the idea arose to support and provide aid to this orphanage. Soon after, the founders became acquainted with several nearby villages with many people and children in need.
In 2010, the founders decided to embark on a tour with friends from the Netherlands to visit these villages in Armenia. Along the way, they distributed second-hand goods. The need for aid in Armenia, but also in other former Soviet Union republics, is so big that assistance could only be truly effective if it could be provided on a consistent and sustainable basis. Therefore, in 2012, the Foundation was established to structurally meet the need for aid.
Our mission
Our work focuses on two core missions:
- collecting and distributing second-hand goods and medical equipment to individuals, institutions and organizations in need.
- raising funds through events and community initiatives to support vulnerable families.
Giving valuable resources a second life
Every year, countless items remain unused despite being capable of making a significant difference elsewhere. We work with individuals, businesses, healthcare providers and community partners to collect and redistribute:
- medical equipment and healthcare supplies;
- educational materials;
- furniture and household goods;
- office equipment; and
- other reusable items that can benefit local communities.
By connecting donors with who need support most, we promote sustainability while creating meaningful social impact.
Events with a purpose
In addition to our humanitarian activities, the Foundation organizes a wide range of events. These events not only bring people together but also help raise funds that directly support disadvantaged families, children and orphaned youth in Armenia and neighbouring regions.
From private celebrations to international gatherings, every event contributes to our charitable mission.
Our vision on the future
We believe that compassion, sustainability and community engagement can create lasting change. We would like to build on earlier achieved successes. By combining humanitarian aid with fundraising activities, we build bridges between those who can help and those who need support.
Together, we can transform unused resources into opportunities and special moments into meaningful impact.
